Corporate Social Responsibility(CSR)

In addition to our leadership in sustainability, a key corporate responsibility initiative is to share the obligation for our industry and our company's impact on the social welfare of our community. To that effect we actively donate furniture and IT equipment to a number of local charities and nonprofit organizations.

The end result is two-fold: helping an organization with their furniture and IT budgets needs while simultaneously diverting furniture from the landfill. Environmental and social responsibility are core values of our company – even when it costs our bottom line.

The Green Dot Award recognizes outstanding sustainable products and sustainable services which are manufactured and delivered in an environmentally friendly manner. De Clercq Office Group was selected as a Commercial Services winner for our ‘Office Furniture Rescue’ program, where we work with clients to reuse, donate, or recycle unwanted goods.

During and after the renovation process our goal is to save furniture and IT from the landfill. We achieve this through our office furniture rescue program. Depending on the size and scope of unwanted goods, we look first to sell your leftover product. If you have a substantial amount of furniture we hold auctions to maximize any remaining monetary value. Next, we will donate on your behalf any unsold furniture to charities. We support a dozen local charities.

To Date We’ve Recycled Over 1,050,000 lbs
